KidsGate Global is designed for children. We take child privacy extremely seriously and apply strict protections beyond what is required by applicable law.

  • Children under 13 may only use the Service through a parent or guardian account.
  • We do not collect more personal information from children than is reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
  • We do not display third-party behavioural advertising to any child user.
  • We do not sell or share children's personal information for commercial purposes.
  • Parents and guardians retain full control over their child's account and data.

  • Parent/Guardian account registration: name, email address, country, and payment details (processed by Stripe — we do not store your full payment card details).
  • Child profile: first name, age or grade level, and selected language.
  • Communications you send us, including support requests.

  • Device and browser information (type, operating system, browser version).
  • IP address and approximate geographic region (country/city level).
  • Usage data: lesson completion, quiz results, time spent, tokens earned, and learning progress.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8).

3.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect a child's full name, home address, phone number, or photo unless you voluntarily provide it.
  • We do not collect sensitive information as defined under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

4How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account and child profiles.
  • To provide, personalise, and improve the learning experience.
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, subscription receipts, trial reminders). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
  • To display the global leaderboard using only a child's chosen display name.
  • To analyse platform performance and improve our curriculum and technology.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

5Legal Basis for Processing

We are an Australian company and comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). To the extent we serve users in the following jurisdictions, we also apply the standards described:

  • South-East Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam): We comply with applicable local data protection laws including Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), the Philippines Data Privacy Act 2012 (RA 10173), Thailand's PDPA, and Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP.
